Biography

Viktoria H.S.E. Robertson is a Professor of Competition Law and Digitalization at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She is also the Director of The Competition Law Hub and a Non-Governmental Advisor to the European Commission within the International Competition Network. Her current research focuses on the application of competition law in digital market environments, including issues at the intersection of competition law, Big Tech and democracy (see 2024 and 2022), as well as computational antitrust (see 2023a, 2023b, 2024). She is the author of an expert report on Merger Review in Digital and Technology Markets to the European Commission (2022), and of Competition Law’s Innovation Factor: The Relevant Market in Dynamic Contexts in the EU and the US (Hart Publishing 2020).
