Matteo Giannelli

Biography

Matteo Giannelli is a PhD student in Legal Sciences (XXXIII Cycle), curriculum Public law, urban planning and environmental law – Public Law (IUS/09), 01/11/2017-31/10/2020, Department of Legal Sciences, University of Florence. His main research subject is consistent interpretation between jurisdiction, legislation and administration.

His previous position was as a research scholar, 01/06/2017-30/11/2017, Department of Legal Sciences (D.S.G.), University of Florence, “New frontiers about protection of fundamental rights”.

Matteo Giannelli holds a Single Cycle Degree in Law (LMG/01), 12/07/2016, 110 cum laude, School of Law, University of Florence, Italy. His degree thesis was “Consistent interpretation and the role of the judge in the multilevel legal system”, with the supervisor Prof. Andrea Cardone. Matteo Giannelli did a specialist postgraduate course in Parliamentary Law, from January to June 2017, Seminario di Studi e Ricerche parlamentari “Silvano Tosi”, coordinated by the University of Firenze with the support of the Italian Parliament, Florence.
