Biography

Leonardo Mazzoni joined the EUI as a research associate in May 2023. He is lecturer of the course: “Economics and Management of Sectors and Local Systems” at the University of Florence. He is member of the program committee of the PhD program in Development Economics and Local Systems.

He completed his PhD in Development Economics and Local Systems at the University of Trento and Florence in 2020. He worked as a researcher and technology transfer collaborator at Artes 4.0 -IMT School for Advanced Studies and a

s a post-doc fellow at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Padua.
He worked as a lecturer of the courses “International Entrepreneurship” at KENT STATE University and “Economics and Management of Innovation” at the University of Padua.
His research interests deal with Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Digital Transformation.
He is co-author of national and international publications of recognised interest (among others, Small Business Economics, Regional Studies, Industry and Innovation, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, EPJ Data Science and International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal).
