Biography

Ella de Jonge is a teaching assistant at Centre for a Digital Society. She is also a PhD Researcher at the Law department of the European University Institute.

Her ongoing PhD project, entitled ‘Follow the Information: Reconnecting the Public to Digital Supervision’ explores the regulation of information in the supervision and enforcement of EU digital legislation.

Ella holds a Double Degree in International Laws from Maastricht University and the University of Zurich. Her research interests include European law and governance, accountability of European governance, and in particular transparency and secrecy in law and practice.
